MD Sitzes (p. they/she) is Media and Marketing Manager at Equality Ohio. MD is an accomplished writer, educator, and organizer with success building strong communications, relationships and capacity via equitable frameworks. In 2015 MD received an award from the City of Los Angeles for helping launch St. John's Transgender Right to Wellness Committee, and in 2018 she developed a body affirming training called Queer Fertility. In 2021 they developed a curriculum on how to support LGBTQ+ affirmative policies and procedures in the fertility sector. MD is from Columbus and is married with twin toddlers.
