Sam Bailey is a senior at Emporia State University in east central Kansas, majoring in Communication, and is a staffer on the student newspaper, the Bulletin. Her honors include Kansas Collegiate Media Journalist of the Year and awards for spot news, feature writing and design. She attended elementary and high school in central Missouri.
